Cryogenic storage tank delivery of Kylin Air
Kylin Air delivery the ASME cryogenic storage tank on schedule
The ASME certified cryogenic liquid storage tank produced by Henan Kylin Air Separation Group Co., Ltd. has been perfectly completed on time under the combined efforts of the relevant workshops, it has been safely transported to the port till now, waiting for the acceptance of customers.
The cryogenic liquid storage tank is a vertical or horizontal double-layer vacuum insulation storage tank which is always used to store liquid oxygen (LO2), liquid nitrogen(LN2), liquid argon(LAr), liquid carbon dioxide(LCO2) and other media.
The inner cryogenic liquids are usually liquefied gases at temperatures of -150°C or lower.
This type cryogenic tanks are also used to store other liquefied gases such as liquefied natural gas (LNG), carbon dioxide (CO2), and nitrous oxide (N2O) at suitable temperatures.
The production, storage and transportation of cryogenic liquids cannot be separated from this kind cryogenic liquid insulation storage tanks, which are widely installed and used in common.
What is the function of the cryogenic storage tank?
This series of cryogenic liquid storage tanks are mainly used for cryogenic liquid storage of liquid oxygen (LO2), liquid nitrogen(LN2), liquid argon(LAr), liquid carbon dioxide(LCO2) and other gases.
As 1 m3 liquid can replace 130 gas cylinders, so use cryogenic liquid storage tanks can instead of send gas cylinders back and forth every day, save amount of human and material resources. This type storage tank has long service life, compact planning, small footprint, assembly control, easy operation and so on characteristics.
The refrigerant should be stored in specifically designed vessel to hold. The vessel shall be double layers to keep heat insulation. All cryogenic liquid vessels shall be upright stored in a well-ventilated area and be fully fixed to avoid dropping, rolling or tilting.
